Jason is a seasoned litigator who guides clients through a wide range of high-stakes disputes, including complex commercial litigation, regulatory matters, and bankruptcy disputes. He is a tenacious and strategic advocate, focused not only on achieving successful outcomes but also on resolving matters efficiently so clients can remain focused on their businesses and personal priorities.

With two decades of experience at major law firms in New York and Washington, D.C., Jason has deep expertise in securities and financial services–related matters, representing companies and individuals in private securities class actions, derivative actions, shareholder activist litigation, and examinations and investigations by the SEC, the Department of Justice, and the New York State Attorney General. His practice also encompasses creditor-debtor conflicts, accounting matters involving public companies, partnership and LLC conflicts, and other business disputes involving contract, fiduciary duty, and tort claims such as fraud.

Jason offers sophisticated, cross-disciplinary insight into a wide range of complex subject areas, including accounting and revenue recognition, valuation disputes, estate-related family conflicts, False Claims Act defense and qui tam actions, disability rights, health law, and media distribution rights.

Jason is deeply committed to pro bono service and devotes substantial time to advancing the rights of underserved communities. He was awarded the Outstanding Pro Bono Lawyer Award by the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law in 2021 in recognition of his sustained advocacy on behalf of children with mental health disabilities in Washington, D.C. Earlier in his career, he worked to protect the constitutional right to counsel for indigent criminal defendants in New York State.
